1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ChartPlay ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ChartPlay.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use ChartPlay. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You are not located in a country subject to applicable sanctions
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Keep your email address up to date
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use
  • Not share your account or allow others to access it

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you. ChartPlay is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account use.

4. Description of Service

ChartPlay is a trading simulation platform. Users participate in trading challenges, each containing a fixed set of historical candles followed by hidden playable candles. In each challenge, you analyze the historical price action and open a simulated Long or Short trade, defining your Entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit, Position Size, and Risk. The replay then reveals playable candles one by one until the trade reaches Take Profit, Stop Loss, or the replay ends.

Challenges are educational simulations only. All trading activity on the Platform uses virtual funds and historical market data. Challenge timeframes are predefined and cannot be changed by users. ChartPlay does not:

  • Facilitate real-money trading or brokerage services
  • Execute trades on any exchange or market
  • Provide access to live trading platforms
  • Act as a broker, dealer, or financial institution

No real money is involved in any transaction on ChartPlay. Simulated trading results do not represent actual financial outcomes.

Users may create journals, upload screenshots, and review their completed challenge history. XP, statistics, and challenge history are part of the educational progression system and have no monetary value.

5. User Responsibilities

As a ChartPlay user, you agree to:

  • Use the Platform for lawful purposes only
  • Not attempt to manipulate, disrupt, or impair the Platform
  • Not access other users' accounts or data
  • Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without written permission
  • Not upload malicious code or engage in any activity that compromises security
  • Comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use ChartPlay for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
  • Use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform

7. Intellectual Property

ChartPlay, including its code, design, content, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by ChartPlay and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission
  • Use our trademarks or branding without prior consent
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

You retain ownership of any content you submit to ChartPlay (trade notes, journal entries, screenshots). By submitting content, you grant ChartPlay a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process that content solely for providing the Platform to you.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

ChartPlay offers both free and paid subscription plans. Premium plans increase the number of challenges you can participate in per month and do not provide any trading advantage or influence challenge outcomes. Available plans:

  • Free: 30 challenges per month
  • Starter: 100 challenges per month
  • Pro: 300 challenges per month
  • Omega: 1000 challenges per month

Users may use up to approximately 10% of their monthly challenge allowance per day. All payments are processed in cryptocurrency only.

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Tron
  • TON
  • Solana

Supported currencies:

  • Native blockchain coins
  • USDT (on supported networks)

Subscription downgrades are not supported. Plan upgrades are available only while the remaining subscription time meets or exceeds the configured minimum upgrade threshold (currently 7 days). The upgrade price is calculated as a prorated portion of the target plan based on the remaining subscription time. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy. Prices are subject to change with notice. Cryptocurrency transaction fees (network fees) are your responsibility.

9. Virtual Trading Disclaimer

ChartPlay provides a simulated trading environment using historical market data. During a challenge replay, you cannot see future candles beyond the point the replay has reached. Virtual trading on ChartPlay has inherent limitations:

  • Simulated trading does not reflect the impact of real-market liquidity, slippage, or order execution delays
  • Virtual funds have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money
  • Simulated performance does not guarantee or predict real trading results
  • Market data used for replay may contain delays or inaccuracies

10. No Financial Advice

ChartPlay is for educational and practice purposes only. We do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Nothing on the Platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. Past performance in simulations does not guarantee future results in real markets. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

11. Risk Disclosure

Trading in financial markets involves substantial risk of loss. The simulated nature of ChartPlay does not fully capture the psychological and financial pressures of real trading. Real trading can result in complete loss of capital. You should:

  • Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose
  • Understand that past simulated performance is not indicative of future results
  • Be aware that leverage can amplify both gains and losses
  • Recognize that market conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly

12. Refund Policy

All subscription payments are processed in cryptocurrency. Due to the nature of blockchain transactions, all purchases are final. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To request a review, contact [email protected] with your transaction details. Cryptocurrency network fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of Terms violations or suspected abuse.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. ChartPlay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Illegal or unauthorized use of the Platform
  • Activity that could harm other users or the Platform

Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases. Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimer), 10 (No Financial Advice), 11 (Risk Disclosure), and 14 (Limitation of Liability) survive termination.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ChartPlay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of simulated trading data or reliance on Platform features

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

  • We will notify you by email at the address on your account
  • We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
  • If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account
